Certain Sections Controlled from 8:20 a.m. to Noon
Mokpo City in Jeonnam announced on the 2nd that traffic control will be implemented on certain sections of the course for the 2025 Mokpo Yudalsan Marathon, which will be held at Mokpo Sports Complex on the last day of the Yudalsan Spring Festival, the 6th, from 8:20 a.m. to noon.
On that day, both directions at Daeyeoncho Samgeori to Aphae Bridge will be controlled, and one-way traffic will be enforced from Mokpo Sports Complex toward Daeyang Industrial Complex. Full control will be implemented under Mokpo Bridge, from Yudalsan Post Office to Yudalsan Circular Road, and from Yudalsan Post Office to in front of the International Passenger Terminal. Partial control will also be enforced from the old Suhyup to Daebandong to the Marine Cable Car, among other areas.
In addition, bus operations will be restricted from 8:00 a.m. to noon. For more details, please refer to the Mokpo City website.
A city official said, "We hope you create special memories by running through Mokpo's beautiful streets in full bloom and enjoying the city's modern historical culture. We will do our utmost to ensure the safety of the event so that citizens experience minimal inconvenience and participants can complete the race safely."
This year's event is expected to attract a total of about 3,350 participants, including over 200 elementary, middle, and high school students from the region.
