Asan City to Officially Open Sinjeongho Local Garden on the 18th

Final Preparations Completed, Including Environmental Maintenance

Asan City, Chungnam Province, announced on the 2nd that the Sinjeongho Provincial Garden will officially open on the 18th.

This garden, registered in January as Chungnam Province's first official garden, covers a total area of 238,000 square meters and features 239 plant species across eight themed sections.

In preparation for the opening, the city has cleaned up debris scattered throughout the garden due to recent strong winds, and has completed facility inspections and weeding work.

Additionally, the city has finished various maintenance and improvement tasks, including replacing old information boards, installing a garden culture experience program room, adding garden edges, creating pocket gardens, removing floating debris from the water, pruning landscaping trees, and planting spring flowers.

Jung Soonhee, head of the Garden Creation Division, stated, "We will maintain the garden in a neat and vibrant manner so that it becomes the best leisure space and a place of relaxation for citizens," adding, "We will do our best to make it a space that provides visitors with unparalleled comfort and happiness."

Meanwhile, the opening ceremony is scheduled to take place from the 18th to the 19th, and the city plans to offer a variety of garden experience events in which citizens can directly participate.
