Would you like to receive 'Book Talk'?

Busan Library announced on the 2nd that it is operating 'Weekly Book Talk,' a service that sends summaries of recommended books every Monday morning.

Weekly Book Talk is a service that provides subscribers with summaries of recommended books via Kakao notification message at 8:30 a.m. every Monday, helping citizens start their week with books.

Subscribers can choose up to six book summaries in their fields of interest from 12 categories, including finance, humanities, history, philosophy, parenting, health, and Busan books.

This service helps promote reading habits by providing regular opportunities to encounter books from various fields through short summaries.

Anyone who is a member of Busan City's Book Connection (library membership) can apply through the Busan Library website or the KakaoTalk channel for Weekly Book Talk. The service will be available to 8,000 subscribers until December 22 of this year.

In addition to the weekly recommended book summaries, more book summaries are available on the Busan Library website's 'Bookzip.' For further inquiries, please contact the Busan Library Cooperation Team by phone.

Park Euna, Director of Busan Library, said, "Through the Weekly Book Talk service, we aim to help citizens access reading content more conveniently," and added, "Busan Library will continue to strive for the expansion of the city's reading culture."
