This audition, hosted by Bonstar Company, the largest acting and vocal academy in Korea, was held over three days until the 30th of last month. Among the winners, some will work as product models for Marina B, a brand of Jeollanam-do cosmetics company Innoflux Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Sumi).

According to Sohwa Media (CEO Oh Hyeongjik), the Vietnamese corporation that co-hosted the audition on the 2nd, well-known entertainment agencies from both Korea, such as FNC, and Vietnam, such as Super Brothers, participated as judges. About 2,000 Vietnamese youths applied for or inquired about the audition.

The Jeollanam-do Southeast Asia Office operated a promotional booth at the event venue at Ho Chi Minh National University of Social Sciences and Humanities, introducing the charms of Jeollanam-do to Vietnamese youth. During the event, about 1,500 people visited the booth and showed great interest in information about Jeollanam-do's major tourist attractions. In particular, local agricultural products such as Naju pear juice and seaweed snacks attracted much attention as visitors sampled them directly.

Shin Hyungon, Director of International Cooperation of Jeollanam-do, said, "We plan to actively promote Jeollanam-do's excellent agricultural and export products to the global market through our five overseas offices in the Americas, China, Europe, Japan, and Southeast Asia."

Jeollanam-do has been expanding cooperation with major regions in Vietnam, starting with a friendship exchange with Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province in 1997, followed by Can Tho City in 2012, Binh Phuoc Province in 2022, and a letter of intent for friendship exchange with Dong Nai Province in 2024. In addition, the Jeollanam-do Southeast Asia Office was established in 2019 to promote international exchanges with the Southeast Asian region, actively pursuing exchanges at the local government level.

Through this event, Jeollanam-do plans to further strengthen global exchanges by promoting its excellent agricultural and export products worldwide alongside K-POP.
