"Just a Private Analysis Firm, Not a Public Institution"
Actor Kim Soo-hyun denied the allegations of 'dating a minor' and presented a 'KakaoTalk emotional report' as evidence, but profiler Bae Sang-hoon criticized it as "meaningless."

Bae, a part-time professor in the Department of Police Administration at Woosuk University, recently said on his YouTube channel, "To be precise, they (the statement analysts) are neither the National Forensic Service nor a public institution," expressing this view.
On the 31st of last month, Kim Soo-hyun held a press conference denying that he dated the late Kim Sae-ron when she was a minor. Based on the results from a KakaoTalk analysis verification agency, Kim Soo-hyun also claimed that the KakaoTalk messages were manipulated.
Profiler Bae pointed out, "(Kim Soo-hyun's side) only paid for the statement analysis, but the results are poor and meaningless. If analyzed by another party, different results could come out," adding, "In the past, during the Cho Ju-bin case, some statement analysts also produced incorrect analyses."
He continued, "The controversy will continue. He brought this upon himself," and said, "I don't want to mention it any further, but if he doesn't resolve it himself, the controversy will grow bigger."
Regarding Kim Soo-hyun's press conference, Profiler Bae said, "Kim Soo-hyun said he dated (Kim Sae-ron) for about a year after she became an adult, but there is plenty of evidence contradicting this," and added, "It seems immature and like sophistry. I wish he had been a bit more honest."
He went on, "Many people say that Kim Soo-hyun choked up and emotionally said everything he wanted to say," and remarked, "If we think about whether we can usually convey emotions and content simultaneously, many people suspect that Kim Soo-hyun's behavior might be acting rather than genuine."
