Suwon City will select beneficiaries on May 14 after conducting quantitative evaluations (document review) and on-site assessments of the applied houses. Subsequently, appropriateness, construction unit costs, and quantities will be inspected. The repair project will be carried out from May to October.
Saebit House supports repair costs for aging low-rise houses within the repair support area. Eligible houses are those with four floors or fewer (detached, multi-family, or row houses) that have been approved for use for more than 20 years. Up to 12 million KRW (with a 10% self-payment) will be supported within 90% of the total construction cost. This year's budget is 5.8 billion KRW.
The main support projects include ▲new electrical work including grounding and replacement of aging wiring facilities ▲repair work to improve performance such as waterproofing, insulation, windows, facilities, and exterior wall work ▲external landscape improvement work such as fence demolition, fence crack repair, gate replacement, and creation of rest areas and flower beds ▲installation of disaster prevention facilities such as flood and fire prevention.
