"Drylands Sauvignon Blanc" Launches in Korea
Award-Winning Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc Now Available
HiteJinro announced on the 2nd that it will launch the premium wine "Drylands Sauvignon Blanc" from the Marlborough region in New Zealand.
Established in 1980, Drylands Winery has produced high-quality wines based on some of the first vineyards where Sauvignon Blanc was planted in the Marlborough region. In 2006, it was acquired by the global liquor company Constellation Brands, and through large-scale investment and renewal in 2020, it rose to become a premium brand.
The first vintage released thereafter, the 2023 vintage, won Platinum at the renowned American wine award, The TEXSOM International Wine Awards, and the 2024 vintage received a score of 91 from the world-famous wine magazine, The Wine Advocate, recognizing its quality.
Drylands Sauvignon Blanc is a product with a pale lemon color and a rich citrus fruit aroma reminiscent of grapefruit. It is characterized by a fresh acidity of lemon zest and a rich taste of tropical fruits that harmonize to leave a clean and long-lasting finish. It pairs well with seafood dishes such as oysters, shrimp, and salmon, Asian dishes like Thai salad, or soft cheeses such as goat cheese and Brie.
