Exemption Protection Officer and Pre-Consulting System
Organizational Culture Improvement Highly Praised
Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 2nd that it has been selected as an excellent institution in the 2025 Active Administration Comprehensive Evaluation by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
This evaluation targeted 243 local governments nationwide and was based on five categories and 17 indicators, including ▲system improvement ▲activation efforts ▲implementation performance ▲best practices ▲resident satisfaction. Jangseong-gun received high marks in several indicators, earning its place as an excellent institution.
The county has introduced the 'Active Administration Exemption Protection Officer' system to support proactive work by public officials and is also operating a 'Pre-consulting System' that allows for prior review of the legality and validity of tasks. In addition, it is striving to spread a culture of active administration by providing incentives to outstanding public officials.
Governor Kim Hanjong said, "The efforts of more than 900 public officials have led to this positive result," and added, "We will continue to consistently practice active administration that residents can truly feel."
