Participation of 768 Employees Raises 13.85 Million Won
The Small Enterprise and Market Service announced on the 2nd that it has delivered the funds raised by its employees to aid in the recovery from the wildfires in the Yeongnam region.
With the voluntary participation of 768 employees, the Small Enterprise and Market Service raised 13.85 million won and donated it to the Daejeon Community Chest of Korea. The funds will be used to support the recovery from the wildfire damage in the Yeongnam region and to help the victims return to their daily lives as soon as possible.

Park Seonghyo, the director of the Small Enterprise and Market Service, said, “We extend our deepest condolences to those who suffered great damage from this wildfire, and we hope this fundraising will help the affected local residents return to their daily lives quickly.” He added, “The Service will continue to share the pain of the local community and strive to fulfill its social responsibilities.”
Meanwhile, last year, the Small Enterprise and Market Service also delivered employee fundraising proceeds to support the fire damage in Seocheon Market and the flood recovery in Jeongbaengi Village.
