Gyeonggi Province will provide up to 50 million KRW to 12 exhibition organizing companies within the province.
On the 2nd, Gyeonggi Province announced that it is recruiting and supporting exhibition organizing companies until the 14th to discover and systematically support new and promising exhibitions with high growth potential.
The support targets 12 exhibitions held in Gyeonggi Province this year, each with a total exhibition area of 2,000㎡ or more and a completed lease contract.
Only one exhibition per company will be supported, with support amounts ranging from a minimum of 30 million KRW to a maximum of 50 million KRW depending on the scale of the exhibition. Selected companies will receive support for domestic and international marketing costs, exhibition website construction, facility installation costs, rental fees, and more.
Park Kyung-seo, Director of the International Trade Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "The exhibition industry is a sector that creates various economic and social effects, so it greatly helps revitalize the local economy. Companies participating in high-quality exhibitions have the opportunity to promote the latest technologies and products and build networks with buyers, which will be a great help in developing sales channels."
