In the metropolitan area and northern Chungnam's west coast, rain will start from noon, and in the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, other parts of Chungcheong, and northern Jeonbuk, rain will begin in the late afternoon and mostly stop by night.

In the inland areas of Gyeongbuk (rain or snow in northeastern Gyeongbuk) and the northwest and central inland areas of Ulsan and Gyeongnam, rain will fall briefly at night, and in southern Jeonbuk, Jeonnam, and other parts of Gyeongnam, raindrops will fall.

In the southern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, northern Chungbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk, snow or rain will continue until dawn the next day, and in Gangwon Yeongdong, sleet will fall between dawn and morning.

The expected precipitation on the 2nd and 3rd is 5 to 10 mm in eastern Gyeonggi, the West Sea 5 islands, Gangwon, and Chungbuk; around 5 mm in Seoul, Incheon, western Gyeonggi, Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam; and less than 5 mm in northern Jeonbuk and the Gyeongsang region.

About 1 cm of snow is also expected in the mountainous areas of Gangwon.

The morning low temperature is forecast to be between -1 and 6 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 12 and 19 degrees Celsius. This is similar to the average (morning 0 to 8 degrees, daytime 13 to 18 degrees).

Temperature differences between day and night will be around 15 degrees Celsius mainly inland, and frost may form between dawn and morning in some areas, so attention should be paid to health management and fruit tree damage.

For the time being, the atmosphere will remain very dry mainly in the metropolitan area, the east coast of Gangwon, southern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, inland Chungcheong, eastern Gwangju and Jeolla, and the Gyeongsang region, so special care should be taken to prevent forest fires and various other fires.

Fine dust levels will be 'bad' in the metropolitan area and Chungnam, and 'normal' in other regions.

Gwangju and Jeonbuk are expected to have temporarily 'bad' levels in the morning and at night, and Daejeon and Sejong at night.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters.

Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and South Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea.
