Donation Campaign Continues in Pohang to Support Wildfire Victims in Gyeongbuk Cities and Counties

Funds to Be Used for Supporting the Recovery of Affected Residents' Livelihoods

Pohang City announced that a wave of donations to help residents of Gyeongbuk cities and counties affected by wildfires is continuing throughout the local community.

On the 1st, a donation ceremony was held at the City Hall's External Cooperation Office with the participation of various local organizations, contributing to the support for wildfire-affected areas.

The Heunghaeeup Development Advisory Committee (Chairman Kang Changho) and Paradise Oncheon (CEO Kang Changho) each donated 3 million KRW, while the Jungangdong Development Advisory Committee (Chairman Jang Dudae) contributed 3.8 million KRW.

Additionally, Kyungjin Medical Foundation Kyunghee Nursing Hospital (Chairman Ahn Wooseop) donated 3 million KRW, and the Pohang Women's Buddhist Association (President Kim Bongsun) contributed 1 million KRW, continuing their warm support for the victims.

Furthermore, the Pohang Influencer Association (President Jung Ayoung), Hamseong (CEO Jung Ayoung), Pohang With Mamas (CEO Kim Nakyeong), and Jeonju On The Table (CEO Nam Yunseo) donated a total of 6.5 million KRW, extending a helping hand to overcome the wildfire damage.

The donated funds will be used to support the recovery of the affected residents' livelihoods.

Mayor Lee Kangdeok said, "This donation activity will provide great help and new hope to the wildfire victims," and expressed his deep gratitude to all participating organizations and companies.
