Yangsan City Accelerates Key Projects with Focused Administrative Efforts

Emphasis on Achieving Results Through Continuous Monitoring and Management

On the 1st, Yangsan City in Gyeongnam held a management meeting and decided to focus its administrative efforts on the 2025 Major Task Progress Report and the prompt advancement of key pending projects.

During the meeting, in-depth discussions were held to explore the city's development direction by reviewing the progress, issues, and future measures for projects such as the 2026 Yangsan Visit Year initiative, the installation of the Sasong Hi-Pass IC, the Hoiya River Renaissance project including the Hoiya Riverside Light Line and the creation of a cultural and historical space under the bridge, as well as the expansion of the Hoiya Riverside road and the establishment of cultural facility spaces.

Mayor Na Dongyeon, who presided over the report session, requested, "I ask that each department establish more systematic detailed plans for the key pending projects reported, and concentrate all administrative power to ensure smooth project implementation through close cooperation with the National Assembly, central government agencies, and Gyeongnam Province."

He also emphasized, "I hope you will do your best to continuously monitor the progress of these projects and respond proactively to any issues that arise, so that we can accelerate project implementation and achieve results that citizens can truly experience."

Yangsan City manages the progress of major pending projects on a monthly basis and provides citizens with information on project overviews, progress status, and future plans for each project through the city's official website.
