New Slogan Announced, Various Side Events Attract Attention

Hyoryeong Senior Welfare Town, affiliated with Gwangju Social Service Center (hereinafter referred to as Hyoryeong Town), held its 15th anniversary celebration on June 1 at the outdoor lawn plaza.
The event was attended by Gwangju Mayor Kang Gijung, Gwangju City Council Chairperson Shin Sujeong, Gwangju Social Service Center Director Kim Daesam, Gwangju Council on Social Welfare Chairperson Kim Younggi, Hyoryeong Town Director Jeong Kyungnam, and about 1,000 local residents. The participants reflected on the 15-year history of Hyoryeong Town and pledged to create a new future.
In particular, the new slogan, "Dignified Retirement, Warm Companionship! Hyoryeong Senior Welfare Town," was announced, drawing attention. In addition, pre-event performances, side events, and a singing contest were held to enliven the atmosphere.
Jeong Kyungnam, Director of Hyoryeong Town, stated, "On the occasion of our 15th anniversary, we will strive to provide a better environment for seniors through welfare services that keep pace with the changing times."
