On the 2nd, Gwangju and Jeonnam will experience clear skies with significant temperature differences between day and night, as well as dry weather.

According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be under the influence of a high-pressure system over the southern part of the West Sea until the morning, but skies are expected to become cloudy in the afternoon due to a trough passing to the north. Light raindrops of less than 0.1mm are forecast for some areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam in the late afternoon.

Morning lows will be 1 degree Celsius in Gokseong and Haenam, 2 degrees in Suncheon, Boseong, and Gurye, 3 degrees in Naju, Jangseong, and Damyang, and 5 degrees in Gwangju, Mokpo, and Yeosu. Daytime highs will reach 18 degrees in Suncheon, Gurye, Boseong, and Yeosu; 17 degrees in Gwangju, Naju, Damyang, and Jangseong; and 16 degrees in Mokpo, Muan, and Haenam.

Wave heights in the West and South Sea coastal waters will range from 0.5 to 1.0 meters, and fine dust concentrations are expected to be at a 'moderate' level.

An official from the Gwangju Meteorological Administration said, "Due to the dry weather, large temperature differences, and the possibility of frost damage, please pay special attention to crop management and fire prevention."
