Focus on Prevention and Improvement
Chungnam Office of Education conducted a preventive audit training for a more transparent public service culture.
The Chungnam Office of Education announced that it will conduct a "Preventive Audit Training for a Culture of Integrity in Public Service" from the 1st to the 3rd, targeting approximately 1,650 vice principals and administrative directors from schools across the province, in order to strengthen the autonomous internal control capabilities at the field level.
The training focuses on informing participants about issues that are repeatedly pointed out during on-site audits and delivering key points that need to be checked and reviewed. The aim is to enhance the autonomous internal control capacity at the field level and lay the foundation for self-improvement.
In addition, training will be provided to strengthen the competency of the code of conduct officers, who play a key role in improving integrity, in parallel with the preventive audit training. This is intended to further enhance the ability to prevent corruption and misconduct, as well as to improve leadership in integrity, thereby maximizing the effectiveness of the preventive audit training.
Lee Youngtaek, Director of Audit at the Chungnam Office of Education, stated, "The preventive audit training is conducted with the goal of shifting from the traditional focus on post-incident detection to prevention and improvement," and added, "We expect that by strengthening autonomous internal control capabilities through this training, we will be able to further enhance the trust and integrity of the Chungnam Office of Education."
