Up to 2 Million KRW Support
Covers 50% of Out-of-Pocket Expenses
On the 1st, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do announced that it will implement the 'Oocyte Cryopreservation Procedure Cost Support Project.' This project targets women aged 20 to 49 who plan future pregnancy and childbirth, and support is provided regardless of marital status.
The eligibility criteria include women who ▲ are residents of Pyeongtaek-si as per the resident registration on the application date, aged 20 to 49 ▲ have an ovarian function test (AMH) level of 1.5 ng/㎖ or below ▲ belong to households with an income at or below 180% of the median income.
Support covers up to 2 million KRW, covering 50% of the out-of-pocket costs for preliminary tests for egg retrieval (blood test, ultrasound) and the procedure fee. However, fees unrelated directly to egg retrieval, such as storage fees and hospitalization fees, are excluded. The support fund is provided only upon completion of oocyte cryopreservation.
The support fund is reimbursed after applying post-completion of oocyte cryopreservation. Interested individuals can apply through 'Gyeonggi Minwon 24.'
