National Information Society Agency Donates 12 Million KRW for Wildfire Relief Fund

The National Information Society Agency (President Hwang Jongseong) held a joint labor-management donation ceremony at its Daegu headquarters on the 1st to support residents in regions such as North Gyeongsang Province who are suffering from severe wildfire damage.

The donation ceremony was attended by President Hwang Jongseong, Labor Union Chairman Song Suil, and Kang Juhyun, Secretary General of the Daegu branch of Community Chest of Korea, among others.

The agency conducted a fundraising campaign from March 26 to March 31 for six days, with voluntary participation from its executives and employees. The fundraising was jointly promoted by labor and management through both cash donations and donations of Onnuri gift certificates held by each department, resulting in a total of 12 million KRW in donations voluntarily contributed by employees.

President Hwang Jongseong stated, "I hope this donation will provide some comfort to the residents of North Gyeongsang Province and other regions suffering from wildfire damage, and I sincerely wish for a swift return to their daily lives."
