Kim Dong-yeon: "Republic of Korea Awaits Constitutional Court's 'Dismiss Yoon Seok-yeol' Decision on the 4th"

Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon announced that on the 4th, the people of the Republic of Korea are waiting for the eight characters "Yoon Seok-yeol is dismissed."

On the 1st, Governor Kim Dong-yeon posted on his social media service (SNS), "At 11 a.m. on Friday, the Constitutional Court has announced a historic judgment on the leader of the rebellion."

He added, "The people are waiting for these eight characters, 'Yoon Seok-yeol is dismissed.'"

Earlier, the Constitutional Court confirmed the date for the impeachment ruling of President Yoon Seok-yeol as 11 a.m. on the 4th. This is 122 days after the emergency martial law declared on December 3.

If President Yoon's dismissal is confirmed, according to Article 68, Paragraph 2 of the Constitution, a presidential election must be held within 60 days. Sixty days from the 4th is June 3.
