Key Management Directions Presented:
Emphasis on Region-Centered Localnomics and Innovation that Preserves Core Values
BNK Kyongnam Bank announced on the 1st that it held the '16th President Kim Taehan Inauguration Ceremony' at the main auditorium of its headquarters.
BNK Gyeongnam Bank President Kim Taehan is vigorously waving the company flag at the inauguration ceremony.
Following the farewell ceremony for the former president, the inauguration ceremony was attended by BNK Financial Group Chairman Bin Daein, who congratulated Kim Taehan on his inauguration as president.
In his inaugural address, Kim Taehan presented the following key management directions: realization of region-centered Localnomics, pursuit of non-disruptive innovation that preserves core values, implementation of 'Success DNA' to strengthen digital competitiveness, and building a trustworthy organization.
In particular, President Kim emphasized the importance of customers and the local community, stating, "BNK Kyongnam Bank has always existed together with the region, and must continue to grow alongside it," adding that the bank should become "a reliable partner for the region."
He further stated, "We must collaborate with local governments and regional businesses and become deeply involved in the lives of our customers and local residents."
After the inaugural address, a 'Regional Coexistence H.E.A.R.T Declaration' ceremony was held with both labor and management participating, pledging that all employees would join in practicing 'warm finance that grows together with the region' through revitalizing local businesses, supporting the growth of the regional economy and companies, and contributing to society, especially for the underprivileged.
Meanwhile, the 16th president, Kim Taehan, is a financial expert who has served as Head of Credit Review, Head of Credit Support Division, Head of Corporate Client Group, and Head of Investment Finance Group. He is recognized as the right person to drive regional economic growth with his field-oriented communication leadership and outstanding execution capabilities.
Born in 1969, Kim Taehan graduated from Masan High School and Changwon National University (Department of Business Administration). He joined BNK Kyongnam Bank in 1996 and has served as Branch Manager of Changwondae Branch, Head of Credit Review, Head of Sales, Head of Credit Support Division, Head of Corporate Client Group, and Head of Investment Finance Group.
