Shinsegae Centum City participated in the '2025 Dongbaek Sanghoe Product Selection Evaluation' held on May 31 at the Busan Port International Exhibition & Convention Center (BPEX) in Dong-gu, Busan.

Dongbaek Sanghoe is a store established on the second basement floor of the department store in 2023 through a collaboration between Busan City and Shinsegae, aimed at promoting excellent local small and medium-sized enterprise products and developing their sales channels. Shinsegae covers all expenses such as commissions and management fees, allowing brands operated by Busan City to be featured in the store. This project is attracting attention as an exemplary case of 'local government-corporate-small business' win-win cooperation.

On this day, food and non-food field experts and distribution specialists from Shinsegae Centum City participated in the evaluation, assessing 203 products from 81 companies that applied for entry. The products selected through the evaluation will go through the department store's verification process and will be available in the store starting in June.

Over the past two years, 70 companies have entered Dongbaek Sanghoe, showcasing more than 280 products and growing together with Shinsegae.

Moon Jinyang, Chief of External Cooperation at Shinsegae Centum City, said, "We will do our best to support Dongbaek Sanghoe so that it can continue to serve as a hub for the sale of excellent Busan-based products."
