This event was organized as a follow-up program to the 'MMCA Multidisciplinary Arts Showcase 2024 Seoul' held last September. The MMCA Multidisciplinary Arts Showcase was introduced last year to discover emerging domestic artists, and in September last year, four Danish artists and four Korean artists performed at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. This time, the second event will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark.

At the Danish showcase, artists Kim Suhwa, Park Boma, Song Yehwan, and Choi Beomgyu, who participated last year, will introduce their artistic worlds. ▲ Kim Suhwa presents choreographic work exploring the connection between the data world and physical reality through Wi-Fi signals ▲ Park Boma showcases a project with various devices and formats that sensually allow experiencing a nonexistent lemon ▲ Song Yehwan offers a personal reflection on aging through performances using a web browser and his own body ▲ Choi Beomgyu explores the relationship between literature and the body, expressing worlds of loss and waiting through readings and performances.

The showcase will be conducted as a 'Gathering Program' involving multinational artists and curators. Artists and exhibition space planners from Asia, Sweden, and Denmark will gather to share opinions.

Kim Seonghee, director of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, stated, "The second MMCA Multidisciplinary Arts Showcase held in Denmark will be an important opportunity to introduce the unique artistic worlds of Korean artists on the international stage," adding, "We will continue to enhance the status of Korean contemporary art through international exchanges and build new cooperative relationships."
