Jeonbuk Autonomous Province will host the '2025 Drone Video and Photo Contest.'
According to the province on the 1st, this contest is organized to discover video and photo content utilizing drones. Applications can be submitted via the Jeonbuk policy communication platform 'Jeonbuk Sotongdaero' until October 17.
This year marks the third edition of the contest, with the theme 'Four Seasons of Jeonbuk Special Autonomous Province Seen from the Sky.' Creative drone videos and photos capturing natural scenery, festivals, and hidden attractions of Jeonbuk throughout spring, summer, fall, and winter are being sought.
There are no restrictions on eligibility, and anyone can participate. The contest is divided into two categories: drone videos and drone photos. Only works taken within Jeonbuk Special Autonomous Province between January 1 and October 17, 2025, are eligible. Each participant may submit one video and up to three photos.
The province plans to select a total of 18 outstanding works through expert evaluation in October, with total prize money of 10 million KRW. The selected works will be exhibited at the provincial government office in December.
Meanwhile, at last year's 2nd contest, a total of 102 entries (21 videos and 81 photos) were received, with 18 works selected as winners. These works were introduced through an awards ceremony and exhibition and have since been widely used as promotional materials for the province.
Kim Hyungwoo, Director of Construction and Transportation for the province, said, "Through this contest, we hope to shed new light on the four seasons of Jeonbuk Special Autonomous Province and widely promote the province's charm. We look forward to many creative drone contents being submitted."
