"Connecting with Readers While Writing"... Recruiting Resident Writers for 77 Literary Facilities Nationwide

Recruiting 77 Resident Writers
Support for Writing Space and Expenses for 7 Months
Applications Accepted Until April 10

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Arts Council Korea (Arko) announced on the 1st that the '2025 Literary Resident Writer Support Project Online Matching Fair' will be held until the 10th.

"Connecting with Readers While Writing"... Recruiting Resident Writers for 77 Literary Facilities Nationwide

The Literary Resident Writer Support Project aims to support stable creative activities by providing writers with residency at literary facilities (libraries, bookstores, literary museums, etc.), labor costs, and various expenses, as well as to plan and operate literary programs for local residents.


Arko is recruiting 77 resident writers to be stationed at 77 facilities nationwide this year.


Applicants must be writers who have been active in creative work for more than three years after debut and have published at least one personal collection of works.


Applications can be submitted through the Arko website.


An Arko official stated, "For the Literary Resident Writer Project to achieve results, active participation from writers is most important," and added, "We ask for the interest and support of talented writers."
