Visit and Online Registration for Group Visitors Begins on the 1st
Kia announced on the 1st that it will operate a customer experience space at the 'Gwangmyeong EVO Plant,' the first electric vehicle-only factory in the Hyundai Motor Group.
The Gwangmyeong EVO Plant is Kia brand's dedicated electric vehicle production plant and serves as a forward base for the popularization of electric vehicles. Completed in September last year, it is responsible for producing Kia's electric vehicle models EV3 and the EV4, which was launched this year.
The customer experience space established at the Gwangmyeong EVO Plant is designed under the concept of "Technology for Life." Kia has created this space as the only customer experience area in Korea where visitors can directly tour an electric vehicle-only production facility.

Inside the auditorium, visitors can watch videos representing Kia's brand vision and philosophy, and receive docent explanations about the factory introduction, electrification technology, and the process of electric vehicle production. Visitors can explore 10 eco-friendly materials that showcase efforts toward sustainability and even test drive vehicles produced in Gwangmyeong.
The Gwangmyeong EVO Plant customer experience space accepts visit registrations for group visitors aged 10 and above, consisting of 15 to 30 people. It operates twice a day on weekdays at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., with each session lasting about 60 minutes. Applications can be made through visit registration or Kia's official website.
Ryu Chang-seung, Executive Vice President and Head of Kia Customer Experience Division, said, "Kia will continue its efforts to accelerate electrification while continuously expanding brand space experiences within production facilities."
