Eunpyeong-gu Supports Up to 2 Non-Covered Implants for Low-Income Groups

Financial Support for Non-covered Implants
for Medical Aid Recipients Aged 50 and Over

Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) provides financial support for up to two non-covered implant procedures for medical aid recipients aged 50 and over.


The 'Non-covered Implant Support Project' is promoted as part of the Hometown Love Designated Donation Project to reduce the economic burden on low-income groups and improve quality of life by restoring oral masticatory function.

Eunpyeong-gu Supports Up to 2 Non-Covered Implants for Low-Income Groups

The support target is medical aid recipients aged 50 or older who reside in Eunpyeong-gu according to their resident registration and have been diagnosed as needing implant procedures. Selection is made on a first-come, first-served basis, and once selected, recipients can receive implant procedures at cooperating dental clinics within the district.


The Eunpyeong-gu Public Health Center is starting the implant project in cooperation with 10 dental clinics in the district. Among the costs incurred for implant procedures, support is provided up to KRW 1,000,000 per implant, with a maximum of two implants, totaling up to KRW 2,000,000.


Applications are accepted from the 1st of this month until June of this year, and the program may close early if the budget is exhausted. To apply, visit a participating dental clinic in the district to verify eligibility and oral condition, complete the required documents, and submit them to the Public Health Center.
