Gyeonggi Suwon City will introduce the ‘Newly Hired Childcare Teacher Aptitude and Personality Test’ system starting from the 1st to create a childcare environment that can be entrusted with confidence.
Accordingly, 92 government-supported daycare centers in the jurisdiction will be required to conduct aptitude and personality tests when hiring childcare teachers, while other daycare centers will conduct these tests voluntarily.
In addition, the safety management status of daycare centers and whether childcare staff have completed safety education for drop-off and pick-up will be continuously monitored.

Also, by November, various programs such as healing education, movie viewing, travel, psychological tests, and counseling will be provided to care for the psychological and emotional well-being of childcare staff.
A Suwon City official stated, "We will proactively introduce the childcare teacher aptitude and personality test to strengthen the qualifications and capabilities of childcare teachers," and added, "We will enhance the trustworthiness of daycare centers to create a childcare environment that parents can trust and entrust with confidence."
