Korea Investment Trust Management announced on the 1st that it will hold a new purchase certification event for two exchange-traded funds (ETFs) tracking major U.S. indices. The event, which started on the 20th of last month, will run until the 30th of this month.
The ACE U.S. S&P500 ETF and ACE U.S. Nasdaq100 ETF are the products eligible for the ACE Chicken event. Participants can join the event by purchasing at least 10 shares. Buying 10 or more shares of either the ACE U.S. S&P500 ETF or the ACE U.S. Nasdaq100 ETF, or a combined total of 10 or more shares of both ETFs, grants an opportunity to participate.
The ACE U.S. S&P500 ETF, launched in August 2020, is based on the 'S&P500 Index.' Investing in this ETF provides diversified exposure to 500 large-cap blue-chip stocks listed on the U.S. stock market. The ACE U.S. Nasdaq100 ETF, launched in October 2020, is based on the 'NASDAQ100 Index,' which notably includes 100 core technology stocks among U.S. listed companies.
To enter the event, participants must capture and attach a screenshot showing their account number, transaction details, and transaction date. Once certification is complete, they will have a chance to spin a prize draw roulette. Each participant can join the new purchase certification event up to 30 times. Since the event runs for 30 business days, investors can make installment investments in the ETFs daily and gain chances to win prizes.
Nam Yong-su, Head of ETF Operations at Korea Investment Trust Management, explained, "The ACE U.S. S&P500 ETF and ACE U.S. Nasdaq100 ETF allow diversified investment in large-cap blue-chip stocks and core technology stocks in the U.S. market," adding, "With quarterly asset rebalancing, investors can conveniently invest in the U.S. stock market."
The two ACE ETFs are performance-distributing types, and principal loss may occur depending on the investment results.
