The job training consists of theoretical education on smart factories and practical training conducted at the 'Smart Factory Learning Centers' located in six regional hubs nationwide. The on-site problem-solving project enhances the trainees' capabilities in smart factory operation and improvement by having them identify and solve problems directly under expert coaching.
This year, expert coaching will be strengthened to operate field-oriented training. The duration of the on-site problem-solving project will be extended from the existing 1.5 months to 4 months, and the number of expert dispatches will increase from 5 to 8 times.
To enhance collaboration-based problem-solving skills and increase applicability in the field, the recruitment of trainees will change from individual units to teams of two or more, selecting a total of 62 teams.
To encourage active participation of trainees, the Small and Medium Business Corporation will establish a reward system, and plans to support one top-performing team with overseas benchmarking training on excellent cases of digital transformation (DX).
Jo Han-gyo, Director of Human Resources Development, emphasized, "We will actively support strengthening field-customized training to ensure the successful establishment of smart factory implementation and lead to tangible results for companies."
