Ulsan Disabled Sports Center, with a 10 million KRW sponsorship from S-OIL, is operating the ‘Morakmorak’ program together with the S-OIL Volunteer Corps. The program, themed around the joy of sharing various sports experiences, targets 300 local people with disabilities each month.

‘Morakmorak’ is designed to allow people with disabilities in the Ulsan area and the S-OIL Volunteer Corps to enjoy a variety of sports every month, such as shooting, a badminton mini-league, lawn bowls, new sports classes, brain sports competitions, and a joint sports day. The program aims to promote health, invigorate daily life, and spread joy, and will be held once a month until February next year.
For the first activity, the S-OIL Volunteer Corps and people with disabilities participated in an unusual sport?shooting?where they bonded and worked to break down prejudices against disabilities.
Jung Pilgyu, a coordinator from the S-OIL Volunteer Corps, shared his thoughts on participating, saying, “I want to be a great sports partner who can joyfully communicate with people with disabilities and share positive energy by enjoying a variety of sports together that are usually hard to experience.”
Im Changki, director of the Disabled Sports Center, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I sincerely thank the S-OIL Volunteer Corps for giving our people with disabilities a wonderful opportunity to build precious memories and improve their health, and I support the activities throughout the year.”
