A 60cm-Wide Sinkhole Forms Near the Centerline of the Mudflat Experience Road
On the afternoon of the 31st, a sinkhole with a depth of 30cm occurred in Seocheon County, Chungnam.
At around 2:32 p.m., the county announced via emergency text message that a sinkhole had formed near the centerline of the mudflat experience road connecting 138-16 Binin-myeon and 374 Dasari.
According to a county official, the sinkhole is estimated to be 60cm in diameter and 30cm deep, and no injuries have been reported.
The county has restricted traffic in both directions and is currently investigating the exact cause of the incident, while also planning to carry out emergency repairs.
