On the 31st, Exem held the 11th regular shareholders' meeting at its headquarters in Magok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
At the shareholders' meeting, three agenda items were approved as originally proposed: ▲ Approval of the separate and consolidated financial statements for 2024 (including the appropriation of retained earnings) ▲ Approval of the limit on directors' remuneration ▲ Partial amendment of the articles of incorporation (addition of business purpose).
Exem achieved sales of 61.24 billion KRW, operating profit of 8.83 billion KRW, and net profit of 10.77 billion KRW on a consolidated basis last year. The limit on directors' remuneration was set at 1.5 billion KRW, the same as last year. To strengthen expertise and competitiveness in the big data business, "academic research service" was added to the business purposes. Exem explained that academic research service serves as a stepping stone to challenge various big data businesses.
Chairman Jo Jong-am, who presided over the shareholders' meeting, said in his greeting, "We were able to set a milestone with record-high sales." He added, "Although the internal and external environment is very challenging this year, Exem will strive to achieve double-digit sales growth compared to the previous year."
CEO Go Pyung-seok, who oversees the business, expressed his ambition, saying, "We will increase sales of AI and cloud solutions such as exemONE, which has rapidly increased sales since its launch in 2024, the big data operation management solution EBIGs, and the AI analysis platform Woodpecker, to widely promote Exem both domestically and internationally."
