Yeongju City Recruiting Participants for Traditional Market Vacant Store Startup Support Program

Comprehensive Support for Aspiring Entrepreneurs Under 49:
Startup Funding, Rental Assistance, and Mentoring

Yeongju City in North Gyeongsang Province is recruiting participants for the "2025 Yeongju City Traditional Market Vacant Store Startup Support Project" until April 21, in an effort to revitalize its stagnant traditional markets.

This project is designed to enhance the competitiveness and vibrancy of the traditional markets by attracting young entrepreneurs under the age of 49 who wish to start a business in vacant stores within Yeongju's traditional markets.

For aspiring entrepreneurs lacking startup experience, the program provides practical support such as five expert mentoring sessions, basic startup education, and assistance with store interior improvements and promotional activities. Participants can receive up to 20 million KRW in startup funding and up to 300,000 KRW per month in store rental support for up to three years.

Eligible business categories include: △industries that can operate offline stores; △industries suitable for creating a youthful image for the traditional market; and △industries that can coexist with existing merchants.
