Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 31st that it will begin global talent recruitment starting from the 1st of next month.
Hyundai Motor has organized three programs for this global talent recruitment: ▲Internship for foreign students in Korea ▲Internship for bachelor's and master's degree holders from overseas universities ▲Recruitment of overseas science and engineering PhD holders.
The internship for foreign students in Korea targets foreigners who have already obtained or are expected to obtain a bachelor's or master's degree from a domestic university or graduate school by February 2026. Recruitment will be conducted in four sectors: ▲Research and Development ▲Production and Manufacturing ▲Business and Planning ▲Management Support.
The internship for bachelor's and master's degree holders from overseas universities targets individuals who have already obtained or are expected to obtain a bachelor's or master's degree from an overseas university or graduate school by June 2026. This program covers five sectors: ▲Research and Development ▲Manufacturing Software ▲Quality ▲Cybersecurity ▲Business and Planning.
Hyundai Motor will conduct a 5-week internship training for selected candidates in July and August, and outstanding completers will be hired as new employees.
The recruitment of overseas science and engineering PhD holders targets individuals who can join by August 2026 and have already obtained or are expected to obtain a PhD in science and engineering overseas. This program covers seven sectors: ▲AI and Data ▲Battery ▲Hydrogen Fuel Cell ▲Smart Factory ▲Robotics ▲Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) ▲Cybersecurity.
Hyundai Motor will conduct document screening in May and the first round of interviews in June for applicants to the overseas science and engineering PhD recruitment. In August, candidates who pass the first interview will be invited to Korea to provide a platform for technical exchange between applicants and current employees in each research field, and the final interview will be held along with a tour of Hyundai Motor's Namyang Research Center and the 'Hyundai Tech Seminar.'
