Na Kyung-won, warns opposition's total impeachment as "more dangerous than Tongjin Party, constitutional court must proceed with dissolution trial of unconstitutional party"

"Democratic Party Effectively Declares a Full-Scale Rebellion Impeachment"

Na Kyung-won, a member of the People Power Party, on the 30th criticized the warning from first-term lawmakers of the Democratic Party of Korea that if Acting President and Prime Minister Han Deok-su does not appoint constitutional court nominee Ma Eun-hyuk, all cabinet members will be impeached, saying, "If this is the official stance of the Democratic Party, the government should immediately file a constitutional party dissolution lawsuit."

Na stated on social media (SNS) that "The first-term lawmakers' threat to impeach the entire cabinet is effectively a declaration of rebellion impeachment," and pointed out, "Behind this is likely Representative Lee Jae-myung, who is the mastermind controlling and directing the first-term lawmakers' unconstitutional collective actions."

She added, "This is a more dangerous institutional attempt to overthrow the system than the Unified Progressive Party," and urged, "Whether the impeachment of the cabinet by 70 first-term lawmakers is the official party position, Representative Lee Jae-myung and Floor Leader Park Chan-dae must clearly respond."

Addressing the Constitutional Court, she said, "The presidential impeachment trial must be concluded within this week," criticizing, "According to the order of closing arguments, a ruling this week would be in accordance with law and principle. They brought a stopwatch for the hearing, so why did the clock stop during deliberation and ruling?"

Regarding the appointment of nominee Ma, she pointed out, "Given the current situation, it is impossible to resume hearings, conclude them again, review records, deliberate, and decide before the retirement date of Justices Moon Hyung-bae and Lee Mi-seon on April 18," adding, "This only stirs unnecessary confusion and division of public opinion."
