"Public Anxiety Grows Due to Constitutional Court's Delayed Verdict"
The Joguk Innovation Party announced on the 30th that if the Constitutional Court does not set a date for the impeachment trial verdict of President Yoon Seok-yeol by the 4th of next month, it plans to pursue a 'nationwide collective lawsuit for compensation for emotional distress.'
Kim Seon-min, acting representative, made this announcement at a press conference held at the National Assembly on the same day.
Acting Representative Kim criticized, "The Constitutional Court should at least explain the reason for the delay in the dismissal verdict of Yoon Seok-yeol, but it remains silent throughout," adding, "The people spend sleepless nights due to anger and anxiety."

Kim said, "If Yoon Seok-yeol is not dismissed before the terms of two constitutional justices (Moon Hyung-bae and Lee Mi-sun) end on April 18, South Korea will experience unprecedented chaos," and added, "The Constitutional Court and the justices who fail to do their proper duties must be held accountable."
Regarding the collective lawsuit, he explained, "Any citizen aged 19 or older can participate," and "Participants will write the name of one justice they believe is most responsible for the trial delay on the application form and claim compensation from that justice."
He further stated, "Since this is a case where public interest overwhelmingly prevails, we will claim an effective amount from the relevant justice," and "All money won and executed will be donated to appropriate causes."
