New 330m² Large-Scale Pop-Up Store Space Created for 30th Anniversary of Busan Main Branch
First Event Kicks Off April 3 with 'Movement Lab' and 'Yogurt World' Bringing Excitement

Lotte Department Store's Busan Main Branch is seeking to transform itself into the largest pop-up store festival venue in Busan as it celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.


To lead rapidly changing consumer trends, Lotte Department Store Busan is newly creating a large-scale pop-up store space exceeding 330 square meters (about 100 pyeong).


The goal is to establish a large pop-up zone in the main area of the first basement floor, the busiest area for visitors, and to invite popular domestic and international brands on a weekly or monthly basis, offering new experiences and activities, and turning the store into a pop-up hotspot in Busan.


At the same time, it will play a major role as an incubating space for local brands representing the MZ generation sensibility in Busan, such as Jeonpodong and Gwangalli.


The first event at this pop-up zone will be held starting April 3. The first invited brands are 'Movement Lab', 'Yogurt World', and 'Jangin Yakgwa'.


'Movement Lab', Korea's most popular living select shop brand, will create a space with a park concept reminiscent of an actual park, where visitors can experience and enjoy furniture and various living products firsthand.

There will also be a photo booth for visitors to take pictures and a variety of SNS upload events. The traditional liquor select shop brand 'TTL SEOUL' will offer content where visitors can taste and purchase various traditional liquors at the pop-up store. Popular furniture brand Jackson Chameleon will present special deals for newlyweds, along with discount promotions, and will offer various gifts through photo zone certifications and instant prize events.


On one side of the pop-up zone, the 'Yogurt World' pop-up will also be held simultaneously. 'Yogurt World', a brand specializing in fresh yogurt ice cream and Greek yogurt, will present a limited-edition menu combining its signature low-sugar yogurt ice cream with Hwang Cheese topping from the Seoul-based trending brand 'Iutjip Tongtongi' to commemorate the pop-up. There will also be a topping bar experience zone where customers can create and order their own toppings, offering a unique dessert taste and experience.


Starting April 11, the 'Jangin Yakgwa' brand, which has led the Halmenial trend, will be invited to showcase a variety of new products, including the hugely popular 'Ugly Hand Yakgwa', which is gaining nationwide popularity.


This pop-up store event will run until April 27, except for 'Jangin Yakgwa', which ends earlier on April 17. In May, in celebration of Family Month, a pop-up store themed around gifts and travel will be held.


From April 11 to 24, the adjacent The Wave pop-up zone will feature a 'Floyd' brand pop-up store, selling skateboarding concept carriers and various travel goods.
