Gokseong County Launches Hope Welfare Mobile Service to Boost Residents' Vitality Gokseong County operated the visiting 'Hope Welfare Mobile Service,' which allows seniors to experience 'Balloon Art Craft,' one of the county vitality enhancement programs, at the village hall of Singi 2nd District, Gokseong-eup, on the 27th. Gokseong County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Jo Sangrae) announced on the 28th that it had conducted the "4th Mobile Hope Welfare Service of 2025" on the 27th in Singi 2-gu, Gokseong-eup, to provide various welfare services to residents of remote villages who have difficulty accessing welfare services due to limited mobility and accessibility.


The Hope Welfare Mobile Service consists of 14 areas, including a vitality enhancement program for residents (balloon art craft), agricultural machinery repair, oriental medicine treatment, electrical safety inspection, mobile laundry, mobile bath, on-site massage, knife sharpening, customized counseling, pest control and disinfection, self-sufficiency employment counseling, home fire safety inspection, and photo printing.


On this day, the "balloon art craft," one of the vitality enhancement programs for residents held inside the village hall, attracted much attention from the residents. The balloon art craft program is operated by a professional instructor who visits the site. The main activities include experiencing various fine motor skills such as inflating, tying, and twisting balloons to create crafts like flowers and balloon dogs.


An official from the county said, "Seeing the seniors enjoying the balloon art craft makes us feel happy as well," and added, "We will continue to do our best to enhance the vitality and welfare of our residents through active operation of the Hope Welfare Mobile Service."
