Inauguration and Resignation Ceremony to Be Held at Dahyang Gymnasium in Boseong-gun on the 29th

The Jeonnam Boxing Association will hold its president inauguration and resignation ceremony on the 29th. At this event, the 2nd president Yoo Seongsu will step down, and the 3rd president Joo Donghyun will take office.
According to the Jeonnam Boxing Association on the 28th, the ceremony will be held at Dahyang Gymnasium in Boseong-gun on the afternoon of the 29th. Kim Daejung, Jeonnam Superintendent of Education, Song Jin-ho, President of the Jeonnam Sports Council, Choi Chanwoong, President of the Korea Boxing Federation, Lee Gwangsu, President of the Boseong Sports Council, actors Lee Jungyong, Lee Jongwon, and Yoo Taewoong are expected to attend.
The event will take place after the conclusion of the '54th National Youth Sports Festival Provincial Team Selection', '106th National Sports Festival Provincial Team First Selection', and the '8th Jeonnam Amateur Boxing Tournament', which will be held in two official rings. Attendees will be able to watch both elite boxing matches to select student athletes representing Jeonnam and amateur boxing matches for boxing enthusiasts at the same time.
Choi Chanwoong, President of the Korea Boxing Federation, will present a plaque of appreciation to former president Yoo Seongsu for his significant contributions to the development of boxing while serving as the 2nd president of the Jeonnam Boxing Association. Song Jin-ho, President of the Jeonnam Sports Council, will also present plaques of appreciation to Lim Yeongdo and Lee Myeonggyu, who have served for years as executive director and secretary general of the Jeonnam Boxing Association. In addition, Park Gu, coach of Hwasun County Office, who has coached Lim Aeji, the 2024 Paris Olympics women's -54kg bronze medalist, since her middle school days, will also receive a plaque of appreciation.
Joo Donghyun, the new 3rd president of the Jeonnam Boxing Association (CEO of DH General Construction), said, "During my term as president, I will restore the reputation of Jeonnam boxing based on unity and cooperation among boxing members."
