Hyosung Donates 300 Million Won for Wildfire Damage Recovery Fund

Donation to the Korean Red Cross

Hyosung has donated 300 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross for wildfire damage recovery.


Hyosung announced on the 28th that four companies, including Hyosung Co., Ltd. and its major business affiliates Hyosung TNC, Hyosung Heavy Industries, and Hyosung Chemical, jointly raised the donation. The generous donation will be used to support wildfire victims and relief efforts on site.

Hyosung Chairman Cho Hyun-joon said, "I extend my deepest condolences to those who have lost their homes and are facing difficulties due to the sudden disaster," adding, "I hope the affected areas will be restored quickly and that everyone will regain their daily lives soon."


Meanwhile, Hyosung has consistently donated funds during national disasters such as the heavy rains in July 2023, the Gangneung wildfire in April 2023, the heavy rains in August 2022, the East Coast wildfire in March 2022, the heavy rains in August 2020, and the COVID-19 pandemic in February 2020.
