The police will accept residents' ideas for improving unreasonable traffic facilities until May.
On the 30th, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced, "In cooperation with the Seoul Autonomous Police Committee, we will receive and improve residents' opinions on inconvenient traffic facilities in Seoul." Anyone can report inconveniences related to traffic facilities and signal systems on neighborhood side streets or main roads without any restrictions on the method, such as via the internet or phone.
Among the reports, urgent matters or those that do not require budget allocation will be improved immediately. For issues with significant traffic impact or those requiring budget allocation, consultations with related agencies and traffic safety reviews will be conducted, with plans to complete improvements by the end of October.
A police official said, "By promoting facility improvements tailored to regional characteristics in cooperation with the Seoul Autonomous Police Committee, we expect residents' traffic convenience to improve and safety to be ensured."
