Full Lineup of Tractors from XU to MT9 on Display
"Farming Diary, Remote Start" Farmer Platforms Also Demonstrated
Not only cars but tractors are entering the unmanned and autonomous era. LS Mtron, an industrial machinery and advanced parts specialist under LS Group, has become the only company in Korea to showcase a full lineup of 'autonomous work tractors.'
LS Mtron announced on the 28th that it participated in the Sangju Agricultural Machinery Expo held at Taepyeongseongdae Gyeongsang Gamyeong Park in Sangju, Gyeongbuk. LS Mtron exhibited its autonomous work tractor lineup ranging from the 46-horsepower 'XU Tractor' to the highest horsepower 'MT9 Tractor' in Korea. The exhibition featured autonomous work tractors from level 1, capable of straight driving, to level 3.5, which includes core technologies of fully unmanned tractors such as obstacle detection and emergency stop functions.

A facelift model of the 'XR Tractor,' optimized for vinyl greenhouse agricultural environments, also made an appearance. Since the Gyeongbuk region, where the expo was held, has many vinyl greenhouse farmlands, the product demonstration attracted significant interest from farmers. The facelift model features a new hood design, and external parts such as levers are designed to be highly durable even after prolonged exposure to sunlight, earning praise for being user-friendly.
LS Mtron also provided a demonstration of new farmer platforms launched under the goal of 'digital transformation of agriculture,' including ▲MyFarmUs and ▲MyLSTractor.
MyFarmUs integrates scattered agricultural data such as crop prices, distribution information, and government support policies. Notably, it introduced a calendar-style farming diary to help farmers easily manage farming activities according to crops and cultivation environments. MyLSTractor is a smart tractor management system that enhances tractor fault diagnosis and management efficiency, providing real-time notifications from remote start to consumable replacement timing.
A farmer who watched the demonstration of LS Mtron’s flagship MT9 said, "Domestic tractors now have as many features as imported tractors," and added, "Thanks to autonomous work tractors, farming has become easier."
Shin Jae-ho, president of LS Mtron, stated, "We have led technology by mass-producing and selling autonomous work tractors for the first time in Korea," and added, "We will strive to improve not only convenience for farmers but also economic efficiency."
