Nexon Launches Hardcore Action RPG 'First Berserker: Kazan'

Nexon officially launched the new hardcore action role-playing game (RPG) "First Berserker: Kazan," developed by its subsidiary Neople, on the 28th.

Kazan is a new single-package title for PC and console platforms based on Neople's flagship intellectual property (IP) universe, "Dungeon & Fighter." Players take on the role of General Kazan and progress through a total of 40 missions, leading a revenge saga. The game features flashy combat styles utilizing weapon and skill combo chains. Additionally, multiple choices are presented, and the ending varies depending on the decisions made.

To commemorate the official launch, Nexon released Kazan official merchandise on its IP official online store "Nexon Essential" starting at 11 a.m. on the same day and is holding a special discount event for two weeks until the 13th of next month. Fans can purchase items such as desk pads, posters, stickers, character acrylic stands, and background postcards featuring regional landscapes. At 12 p.m., the official original soundtrack (OST) album for Kazan will be released on domestic and international music platforms. The album includes a total of 22 tracks, featuring themes for the protagonist Kazan and various bosses.

The Kazan trial version attracted attention by surpassing 1 million global downloads. On the game distribution platform Steam, it received the highest rating of "Overwhelmingly Positive" on the 25th and ranked 4th in global sales. In this official release version, some boss monster difficulties have been adjusted and certain weapon skills have been modified based on user feedback.
