The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Director Jeong Jongdeuk) held a Safety Culture Promotion Resolution Ceremony and Safety Prayer Ritual at Maekdo Ecological Park in Gangseo-gu on the 27th. This event aimed to bring about a dramatic shift in safety awareness and culture in accordance with the roadmap for reducing serious accidents and to promote the reduction of fatal accidents in the region.

Approximately 130 participants attended the event, including officials from the Busan Northern District Office of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (Director Min Gwangje), the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, construction, manufacturing, and port-related councils, and other relevant organizations. The event began with a welcoming speech by Min Gwangje, Director of the Busan Northern District Office, followed by a Safety Culture Promotion Resolution Ceremony to establish and internalize a safety culture at worksites, a Safety Prayer Ritual wishing for a reduction in fatal accidents in the area, and environmental cleanup activities in the surrounding area.

Jeong Jongdeuk, Director of the Busan Regional Headquarters, stated, "We were able to confirm the strong commitment of related organizations and stakeholders to the prevention of industrial accidents. The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency also promises to take the lead on the front lines of industrial accident prevention with all our capabilities."
