At the meeting, participants discussed management of reservoir water levels and measures to secure water during the farming season, reviewed progress on the 2025 irrigation facility improvement and disaster risk mitigation projects, and shared current issues by branch, including discussions on recovery plans for underperforming districts.

Director Kim Dongin stated, "Please establish emergency water supply measures for the 17 reservoirs with less than 60% of the average storage rate (caution level) to ensure there are no disruptions in agricultural water supply," and added, "I also ask that you remove any debris from drainage channels and other facilities before June to prevent flood damage."

He continued, "Maintain operational readiness at drainage pump stations and pre-position flood control materials and equipment to check for any safety blind spots. Please thoroughly maintain emergency work status during weather advisories, and in the event of a disaster, report promptly according to field investigation and response manuals."

He further stated, "We will focus our efforts on preventing safety accidents by conducting pre-inspections for disaster risk factors at facility improvement construction sites, and by carrying out comprehensive inspections and safety measures for vulnerable facilities before the flood season so that farmers can cultivate their crops with peace of mind."
