The Bank of Korea announced on the 27th that it plans to issue monetary stabilization bonds worth 6.1 trillion won next month.
Of this amount, 5.5 trillion won will be issued through competitive bidding, and 500 billion to 600 billion won will be issued through subscription.
The Bank of Korea plans to redeem monetary stabilization bonds worth 2 trillion won early next month. Monetary stabilization bonds are securities issued by the Bank of Korea to banks, financial institutions, or the general public to regulate the money supply.
