Booyoung Group's Active Support During Past Earthquakes, Fires, and Wildfires

Booyoung Group donated 500 million KRW to the National Disaster Relief Association on the 27th to aid in the recovery from the large-scale wildfires spreading nationwide. The donated funds will be used for restoration work in affected areas such as Gyeongsang Province, emergency relief activities for disaster victims, and support for daily necessities.

Lee Joong-geun, Chairman of Booyoung Group, expressed, “We extend our heartfelt condolences to the residents affected by the large wildfires,” and added, “We hope the fires are extinguished quickly so that the victims do not lose hope and can swiftly return to their daily lives.”

Booyoung Group has actively supported disaster victims by donating funds and providing apartments whenever disasters occur. During the 2017 Pohang earthquake, the group donated hundreds of millions of KRW and provided Booyoung apartments for the victims. They also continued relief donations and housing support during the wildfires in Gangwon and the East Coast in 2019, 2022, and 2023.

Additionally, Booyoung Group has consistently contributed and supported during various national disasters, including donations for the families of the Cheonan ship sinking victims, fundraising for the Sewol ferry disaster victims, donations for the Gyeongju earthquake recovery, relief funds for the Daegu Seomun Market fire, and support for the Yeosu Fish Market fire recovery.
