Until now, various problems such as △land boundary disputes △errors in official land price assessments △delays in administrative procedures △infringement of property rights have occurred due to public registers that do not match the actual usage status.

This has acted as a factor increasing management burdens by leading to a decline in corporate asset value and restrictions on loans from financial institutions.

To address this, the city plans to conduct a comprehensive survey of corporate land and organize land transfers, aligning public registers with the actual land status to enhance corporate land utilization, increase asset value, and reduce management costs.

Additionally, by utilizing data from administrative systems such as the Comprehensive Real Estate Registry System and the Integrated Spatial Information Platform, systematic land information management will be enabled, supporting companies to quickly and accurately verify land information.

Furthermore, the city will introduce orthophoto shooting using drones to precisely investigate land boundaries and usage status. High-resolution images obtained through drone shooting will be overlapped and analyzed with cadastral maps to identify unreasonable boundary adjustments, and problems that were difficult to resolve through traditional manpower surveys will be promptly improved.

A Namyangju City official stated, “Providing accurate land information is of utmost importance to secure business management stability,” adding, “Through the establishment of this Smart Land Information System, we expect to reduce the management burden on companies, create a stable management environment, and have a positive impact on the local economy.”
