The Gwangju Office of Education has set the direction for student life education this year as "Life education that does not give up on even a single child."

This year, the Gwangju Office of Education has presented strengthening life education, preventing school violence, and focusing on relationship restoration as its main tasks. Specifically, it plans to implement life education in eight areas: operation of the School Violence Zero Center, improvement of students' adaptability and sense of responsibility, strengthening education on respect for life, prevention of academic dropout and expansion of alternative education, support for students in mental health crisis, fostering healthy sexual values and strengthening sex education, and education to prevent gambling.

In particular, the "Life Education Relationship Restoration System" is a newly introduced policy this year. It operates rapid response teams and relationship restoration support teams at the School Violence Zero Centers under the Eastern and Western Education Support Offices, enabling quick intervention in school violence cases and supporting the resolution of classroom conflicts and issues involving students in crisis.

Superintendent Lee Jungseon said, "We will spare no effort in providing support at the education office level so that teachers can focus on student education in a safe environment."
