KOTRA introduced ▲major economic and trade measures of the new U.S. administration ▲six alternative markets to watch ▲KOTRA emergency response export support projects ▲cases of tariff-related consultations since the new U.S. administration took office ▲utilization and collaboration plans for the Digital Trade Comprehensive Support Center (deXter) ▲collaboration plans for attracting overseas talent, and exchanged opinions on expanding cooperation and joint response measures between local governments and KOTRA in response to changes in the trade environment.

In particular, some local governments introduced their current status and strategies on how they are responding to U.S. trade policies, which reportedly attracted significant interest from other local governments. A local government official who attended the seminar said, "It was an opportunity to confirm the information necessary to prepare response measures to changes in the trade environment," adding, "We will resolve the difficulties faced by regional companies struggling with exports through cooperation with KOTRA."

Kang Kyung-sung, President of KOTRA, said, "The changes in trade policies of the new U.S. administration have caused many difficulties for small and medium-sized enterprises, which are the foundation of the regional economy," and emphasized, "KOTRA will actively support local SMEs to overcome difficulties by minimizing negative impacts on regional industries and our companies through close cooperation with each local government, as well as by pioneering alternative markets and emergency response support projects."
